Here’s more Sunday Inspiration coming your way. If you love them or they do nothing for you let me know in the comments section below or on the The Inspired Man’s Facebook page.

1. Quote of the Week (taken from the book The Slight Edge)

Jeff Olson

2. A Book Which Is Inspiring Me

I’m reading a really interesting book at the moment, which was recommended by my mentor Jamie Smart called Synchronicity: The Inner Path of Leadership. It is the best book I’ve read to date on what real leadership is about. Service.

Joseph spends a significant amount of time building up to the magic he offers through the story of his life. His shift from being a highly successful attorney, to creating a transformational world leadership program, during which you start to see how the magic of synchronicity works. It is about the idea of committing to something and then as Joseph Campbell said,

“Follow your bliss and don’t be afraid, and doors will open where you didn’t know they were going to be.”

3. A Woman Who Inspired Me This Week

Talking of synchronicity, I met a truly inspiring woman on the train to London this week, which only happened because a man had taken her seat, so she to sat in the empty one next to me.

We talked for the next hour or so about her life. There was a lot to talk about.

She was on her way to London for a couple of days to get together with a group of friends who she meets twice a year. She used to be a midwife and nurse, she’d traveled the world, loves driving her car and goes to the gym 4 times a week.

She was full of life with a vitality and freshness I don’t see in many 20 year old’s, I say that because this lady was 94. She looked amazing, their was a sparkle in her eye and a vibrancy for life even though she’d out lived two husbands. It was a pleasure to spend an hour with a lady, living life by her rules.

This wasn’t just a weekly inspiration, this one of the highlights of my life – a reminder to be really present and curious with the person in front of you, because there’s always so much to learn.

4. A Ted Talk Which is Inspires Me

“Once we let go of our massively intuitive but massively false assumption about the nature of reality, it opens up new ways to think about life’s greatest mystery.” ~ Donald Hoffman

Cognitive scientist Donald Hoffman is trying to answer a big question: Do we experience the world as it really is … or as we need it to be? In this ever so slightly mind-blowing talk, he ponders how our minds construct the world we see. If you like the film the Matrix, you’ll enjoy this talk. It points to the inside out nature of life I often refer to.

5. A Project I’m Working on Which is Inspiring Me

I am feeling inspired about a new program I’m launching called The Inspired Year Project 2016. The purpose of the program is to support you to achieve greater success and accomplish higher levels of productivity, discipline and self belief next year than any previous year.

It is for men who’ve a desire to grow and evolve their lives, their businesses and their understanding of life. Men who want to create more happiness, success and prosperity in in 2016.

A large part of this program is about exploring the inside out nature of life, which I promise you will spark a genuine transformation in your life by helping you live with greater clarity and create inspired results that matter.

I will let you know more about this next week, but if you can’t wait that long, hit reply and we’ll arrange a time to talk next week.

That’s it for this week. If you have questions, suggestions or want to let me know what you’re inspired about, tweet one of yours and include the twitter name @theinspiredman and the #sundayinspiration hashtag, so I can find it.  If I’m inspired about something you’re inspired about, it might just get featured in a future Sunday Inspirations.
